kompani haugesund – todelt aften

Thursday 07th and friday 08th September 2017 – Festiviteten Haugesund

Sunday 09th september 2017 – Sandnes Kulturhus

Todelt aften – choreographed by Janne-Camilla Lyster and Stian Danielsen. The Company has chosen to collaborate with these choreographers because of they designation as two of the contemporary dance field’s most exciting choreographers. They make imaginative, musical and sophisticated works characterized by courage and playfulness.

Janne-Camilla Lyster

Glassperle is a poetic movement fantasy unfolded in light and shadow to the sound of glass harp. A choreographic game where the rules get the unforeseen to occur with mathematical precision, musicality and wit.

Stian Danielsen

For about 2000 years, Ovid wrote the story of Narcissus, a young beautiful hunter who fell in love with his own mirror reflection.
With WOW !, a choreography for four dancers, Stian Danielsen takes a starting point in this picture as he explores the different sides of narcissism, which seemed to have become one of today’s epidemics.
The audience will be drawn into a beautiful but disturbing room, where the dancers constantly shift between extreme states and reveal the darkest, but also the absurd and comical sides of being extremely obsessed by themselves.
