Magenta

Magenta was the company’s first main production and premiered at Festiviteten in Haugesund on 19 October 2011. The performance was a mixed bill with four different pieces. This was a very strong wish from our founder Anne Jorunn Salhus when we started Kompani Haugesund: to show our diversity, both as dancers and creators. Every choreographer this evening was from the company.

I’ll tell you all about the things you want

Do you kick upwards, downwards, do you scream instead of talking or have you discovered how much attention you can get from just whining in a corner? Do you collect information or nice shoes? Are you with me? Its only the struggle for existence, my dear friend.

Sensilis

She learns as she goes, and the freedom gives her the space to create, play, and daydream. She doesn’t feel loneliness, even though she lacks company.
